❌🤑💰 We all feel the pinch 💰🤑❌
This blog post may cause a few triggers, so I apologise in advance if it does trigger you, but as controversial as it may be, it's something I have to talk about...
It's something that we all have to deal with, as it's a part of life. It's easy to go to work and just get a pay check at the end of the month to then have nothing left or even a couple of hundred left for the next month ahead. That, I completely understand. Personally I went through it since I was 14 years old, from starting off doing a paper round, then breaking my femur through my GCSE's which I was neglected by the school as they didn't have the resources and left me with grades that I wasn't particularly fond of, I then went to college for extra curricular education which then I worked part time in a local worldwide establishment. I ended up doing metal fabrication in the fumigation business, which lead me to move up north to do alarm systems and I have also done multiple jobs everywhere which wasn't stable enough to consider a career.
I then found myself working with the local council, first time using a hedge cutter properly and commercially, it was a daunting experience at first but I really enjoyed the fast pace and through the summer I was working in the bowling greens and working within the central park. But even with that job, I was working month to month, and yes the money was guaranteed but I found it was getting dead end.
Having the courage to start a business comes with risks. I recently put out a post in regards to new terms for on the day cancellations, a mixed response and controversial, may it be. As small businesses we have to protect ourselves as much as having insurance to pay, vehicles to fuel up, tools to fuel up and maintain ourselves to save the money to live.
Yes, everyone has a choice, but also everyone has a choice to choose someone who is more than your cheapest, because a job done good, is better than a job done twice and having to pay more. It may be more money to pay, but you'll be satisfied in the end.
This is what I see a lot in this industry, so many people would rather pay cheaply and get left with mess and less care put into the job.
So I hope this makes you think a bit, cheap may sound enticing, but going for the higher priced quotes will get you better work.
